Role : Private Bank and Wealth Management Product Manager

Location : London

Duration : 6 months

Overall purpose of the role:

As a Private Bank and Wealth Management Product Manager, you will join a banking product team responsible for managing linked bank accounts, payments, and credit card offerings for private bank customers. The primary purpose of this role is to oversee these products, drive necessary changes, and ensure the banking proposition serves existing clients while effectively attracting new ones. You will be working within an immediate team of five people to support a project delivering a new product solution or service centered around the use of account products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support a project to deliver a new product solution or service for clients involving account products.

  • Navigate new product solutions through the new product approval governance process.

  • Support the end-to-end design, implementation, business readiness, and technical delivery of the solution while liaising with the technical team.

  • Collaborate with the Hiring Manager to write risk papers and related documentation, rather than working on them completely individually.

  • Create PowerPoint presentations to support project delivery and communication.

  • Interpret and reorganize data sourced from existing data teams to obtain necessary insights for the project.

Key Skills:

  • Broad experience in product management or the delivery of products; a background in product management around payments or cash (money movements) is highly useful.

  • Strong data manipulation skills using Excel (including pivot tables and formulas) to extract insights from transactional data; SQL is not required.

  • Business Analyst experience, particularly with a background in setting up operational processes and working with tech change delivery.

  • Highly organized, able to work autonomously, and possess excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to lead group sessions occasionally and work collaboratively across different functions and teams
