Location - Glasgow- Hybrid 2 Days in the office per week
Contract - 6 Months - potential to extend
Shift Pattern - 09.00am - 17.00pm Monday - Friday

Purpose of the Role:
Barclays are looking to recruit 2 x Agile Coaches to join the Team in the Glasgow office on a Hybrid working basis. This position will be predominately to help manage/ coach multiple teams through a large scale Change project, showing and teaching Agile ways of working. This role will work alongside senior stakeholders of C Suite level.
Key Responsibilities:
Coach multiple teams within an Agile style of working including Team Leaders and Management
Report into C Suite stakeholders
Build forums of “Best Practise” to showcase working continuity across the business.
Continuous improvement strategies
Drive innovation through a clear understanding and vision of organisational change
Turning any challenges into opportunities and gaining Buy in
Showcase innovation ways of thinking to the wider teams and be a pillar of knowledge and guidance to managers to help them in any training/ coaching needs they may have
Identifying and mitigating risks associated with Agile transformations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and strengthening control measures.
Previous Experience & Qualifications:
Deep understanding and practical experience with Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework), LeSS (Large-Scale Scrum), and others.
Certification in relevant Agile practices (e.g., Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified SAFe Agilist).
Experience in facilitating Agile ceremonies like daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.
Proficiency in conflict resolution and fostering team collaboration.
Ability to mentor Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and other team members.
Experience in managing organizational change and guiding teams through the transition from traditional methodologies to Agile.
Familiarity with strategies for overcoming resistance to change.
Experience in leadership roles such as Project Manager, Product Manager, or Team Lead.
Strong skills in influencing and guiding leaders to align with Agile values.
Experience in software development, testing, or IT operations to understand the technical challenges teams face. Desirable from a Developer background understanding of coding/ Programs
Experience in tracking and reporting Agile metrics like velocity, burndown charts, and lead time to assess team performance and drive continuous improvement.
Ability to communicate the value of Agile practices to non-technical stakeholders.
