Project Manager

Location: Northampton or London

Working mode: Hybrid, 3 days per week on-site

Contract: 6 Months (Contingent Contractor)

We're looking for an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to join our team, playing a crucial role in delivering complex, multi-platform projects that have a direct impact across our business.

In this role, you'll be more than just a task manager; you'll be a visionary and a leader. We need someone who can not only oversee a project but truly define the path forward, ensuring every plan is logical, well-structured, and aligned with our strategic goals.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Overseeing Project Plans: You will be the mastermind behind the project, critically evaluating plans to ensure they are robust and make sense.

  • Defining the Pathway: You'll be responsible for charting the course, determining the steps, and establishing the sequence of what needs to happen to achieve project success.

  • Reporting: You will provide clear, concise, and regular reports on project status, progress, and risks to senior stakeholders.

  • Implementing Your Own Plans: This isn't just about executing someone else's vision. We're looking for someone who can create and implement their own comprehensive project plans.

What We're Looking For:

  • Hands-On Project Experience: A proven track record of creating and implementing your own project plans from the ground up.

  • Financial & Payments Expertise: Ideally, you will have a strong background in a finance or payments project environment.

  • Multi-Platform Implementation: Significant experience with multi-platform implementations that span multiple business areas. You may have served as a finance change lead on a complex, multi-faceted program.

  • Experience in New Ventures: Any experience in setting up brand new business activities or working on re-platforming projects will be a major advantage.

Working Environment

  • Hybrid working model: On-site in London or Northampton three days a week, remote otherwise

  • Fast-paced, evolving environment with shifting priorities

  • Hands-on, autonomous role with no direct reports

  • Candidates must be adaptable, confident, and able to contribute immediately
