Technology Controls Assurance Manager Tesco Bank

Overall purpose of the role:
Join the Tesco Bank Technology Controls team during a pivotal transformation period as the business merges with Barclays. As part of the Technology Centre of Excellence, you will play a critical role in testing controls and providing ad-hoc assurance to ensure the bank is well-prepared for audits.
Key Accountabilities:
Execute testing of 3-4 controls per month, with a primary focus on US SOX controls
Manage UK scheme attestations, taking ownership of these for the technology sector
Perform ad-hoc assurance pieces, including audit remediation work and evaluating potential new controls
Proactively manage stakeholders at Director and VP levels to ensure evidence is gathered and controls are completed within strict timeframes, despite the challenges of a fast-paced environment
Key Skills:
US SOX Testing: Mandatory experience with US SOX testing, specifically understanding completeness and accuracy requirements
Tech & Cyber Background: Essential background in Technology and Cyber security controls
Risk & Control Frameworks: Proven experience working within risk and control frameworks across any of the three lines of defence
Communication: Ability to communicate and challenge at an advanced level with senior stakeholders
