Support Worker
Location: Northampton (Hybrid, currently working out of the office Monday & Tuesdays)
Length: 6 Months
PAYE only
Barclays is looking for a dedicated individual to provide essential day-to-day support to a colleague working out of the Northampton office. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to assist and empower a team member, playing a key part in a vital function within the Barclays organization
Key Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support, including proofreading, formatting documents, and assisting with preparing presentations as and when required
Assist with technical tasks such as navigating websites, completing online forms, and troubleshooting basic technical issues.
Escort the colleague to meetings and around the office on office days
Collaborate with your colleague using Microsoft Teams and other communication tools when working from home
Support with workflow by assisting with data entry and other tasks, as required- please note, you will receive training on the systems and the workflow.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Strong understanding of computer systems.
Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You should enjoy supporting others.
A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Experience in a supporting role is beneficial, but not essential.
This role could be suited to someone who has maybe worked as an Executive Assistant or Personal Assistant that is looking for a change
