Overall Purpose of the Role
We are seeking an experienced Process Specialist/Engineer to join a multi-year, bank-wide initiative. This role is specifically focusing on the compliance change/carved-out section of the IT Programme. The core objective is to re-evaluate existing processes comprehensively, seeking to leverage emerging technologies such as AI for potential benefits.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the comprehensive re-evaluation and redesign of existing processes within the compliance change/carved-out section of the IT Programme, including dismantling and rebuilding the current Target Operating Model (TOM).
Utilize process mapping tools, to document, analyze, and optimize workflows.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains, with a focus on leveraging emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Collaborate with various stakeholders to gather requirements, facilitate workshops, and ensure alignment on new process designs.
Develop and implement revised processes, ensuring they meet regulatory compliance standards and bank-wide strategic objectives.
Provide expertise in compliance operations to ensure new processes are robust and effective.
Skills & Experience
Extensive experience as a Process Specialist/Engineer within a Tier 1 bank, specifically in compliance operations.
Proven expertise in process mapping, utilizing tools such as IBM Blueworks or similar industry-standard platforms.
Strong background in process automation and identifying opportunities to leverage emerging technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI) for efficiency gains.
Demonstrable experience with process mining techniques and tools to analyze and optimize complex workflows.
Proficiency in Business Process Intelligence (BPI) to derive actionable insights from process data.
In-depth understanding of regulatory compliance standards and their application within banking operations.
Experience in designing and implementing Target Operating Models (TOMs), including dismantling and rebuilding existing models.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to lead workshops and collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and process improvement.
