Personal Assistant - PA
Location: London, Hybrid Working
Length: 6 Month Initial Contract - Potential to be extended

Overall purpose of the role
The Personal Assistant role will provide full secretarial and administrative support for 2-3 senior bankers plus wider members of the team within Investment Banking. We require an experienced assistant who can juggle workload and enjoys being busy in a varied role. This role is for coverage of holiday and sick leave and may change from team to team within the Investment Banking area depending where the coverage is required.
Previous experience in Diary Management, use of expense systems and booking travel is important for the role and a background as a PA / EA the Investment Banking industry is ideal.
Key Accountabilities:
Manage complex and detailed calendars
Strong attitude towards ownership of tasks
Screen incoming calls
Arrange and coordinate complex travel, including ensuring all business and compliance related approvals are in place
Tact and good judgement in confidential situations; proven experience interacting with senior management
Able to deal with people competently and confidently at all levels; builds strong relationships with clients and colleagues across the bank
Excellent attention to detail
Work cooperatively with other assistants, in a positive partnership to support each other
Assist the team with tasks as required
Key Skills/Experience:
Proven experience in a Personal Assistant / PA / EA / Executive Assistant / Team Assistant support role ideally within Investment Banking
Open to experience in Banking / Private Equity industries
Experienced in Diary Management - dealing with numerous stakeholders (internal and external)
Previous experience with use of expenses systems such as Concur is advantageous
Experience in booking travel - national and international is advantageous
Able to plan and prioritise own workload, effective time management skills and accustomed to working to tight deadlines under pressure
Strong proficiency in Microsoft office suite of products
Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Deals with confidential and private information with integrity and sensitivity and demonstrates tact and good judgement in confidential situations
Confidence to work with senior leaders and stakeholders to build good working relationships and work collaboratively.
Knowledge of group procedures and policies in relation to Coupa, Travel, Expenses, HR tools.
