Overall purpose of the role
This role is responsible for understanding the role and responsibilities of the Head of TA Sub-Service Leads, supporting them and their teams in the collaborative delivery of their role and function on a day to day basis. This will include providing proactive support and using strong communication skills to enable stakeholder relationships at all levels of the organisation. Due to the scope of the role, you will need to be highly organised with excellent ability to prioritise, manage colleague and stakeholder expectations and work to tight deadlines.
How will you help Barclays?
- With scheduling/rescheduling appointments and meetings
- Book all travel arrangements and accommodation, planning full itineraries, where necessary
- Act as the main contact point both in the presence and absence of the Sub-Service Leads
- With being the main source of reference across TA for key policies and procedures, e.g. Expenses, Travel, HR process, Gifts
& Entertainment etc. - Taking minutes
- Assisting with project coordination
- With your strong spoken and written communication with the ability to manage queries and actions, making sound decisions and using initiative and autonomy to ensure they are free to concentrate on high priority matters.
Skills:
- Proven experience supporting multiple Senior Managers/Directors
- Proven experience in a secretarial area
- Excellent organisation and administration skills
- Proactive, with an ability to prioritise workload
- High level of PC skills including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook
- Good level of numeracy needed for processing invoices and expenses
- Secretarial qualification (RSA or equivalent as minimum)
