Overall purpose of the role
Barclays is looking for a Business Analyst - AVP to join an exciting and dynamic part of the business; TCR - BUK. Transformation Customer Remediation (TCR) is a specialist change team within Transformation, operating at scale across BUK with a large portfolio of projects. TCR is the BUK Centre of Excellence for remediation projects.
The primary purpose of this role is to take responsibility for the overall delivery of TCR’s engagement in the NAPA process and support of the broader Protect Agenda. Ensure governance & control processes across TCR NAPA assessment lifecycle. This includes overall accountability and end-to-end delivery for TCR NAPA assessment and supporting the monthly NAPA cycles. Maintain the TCR NAPA assessment governance processes are delivery of assessments within agreed governance standards and timescales.
Key Accountabilities:
Maintaining NAPA Lessons Learned documentation including annual reviews and regular updates from lessons learns from remediation projects out at TCR project closure.
Managing NAPA application submitted to TCR for review. Evaluating key artefacts and ensuring the TCR Score assessment has been completed consistently and accurately.
Managing the risk weighting associated with the TCR assessment to ensure the assessment provides an accurate risk score.
Evaluating financial products at key stages of the product life cycle, support key delivery forums to ensure TCR lessons learnt have been considered in design, build and delivery phase of product development.
Working on ad hoc projects across BUK to improve change delivery and product development.
Support business areas in submitting TCR assessment; working with BI/BUK colleagues to understand and satisfy observations and conditions contained in TCR approvals. Working with compliance to ensure any condition or observations are communicated and addressed in final approval.
Back testing risk scores with historic remediation activity and NAPA Post Implementation Review.
Managing a backlog of changes to the TCR assessment tool, implementing ad-hoc changes, and working with SME for updates the tool.
Responsible for the creation and execution of a risk control framework (including risk trigger/identification, risk assessment, risk control, and risk mitigation for NAPA applications). Ensuring that all risks/issues/observations/conditions are accurately captured with supporting commentaries. Understand and prioritise risks and issues according to the various reports/forums they feed into.
Working with programme delivery steercos providing remediation lens to key strategic projects across BUK including the delivery of an end-to-end business and technology solution supported across multiple processes, systems and infrastructure.
Supporting with the deployment of the TCR Assessment into strategic Appian toolset.
Be a key influencer in ensuring projects leverage the Citizenship Lens to 'do the right thing' for customers and, wherever appropriate, support the corporate ethos of being a force for good in the community.
A role model in terms of behaviour and commitment to collaboration across Barclays UK. Lead and champion key activities to enhance the wider team culture such as but not limited to: Citizenship, Knowledge share, Process & Tools, Resource Assignment Management, Recruitment & Onboarding, Professional Development and Culture.
Individual role holders may be required to manage the business governance calendar, facilitate governance forums, manage status review board inputs, co- ordinate and manage resource and demand planning and recruitment processes.
