SAP Programme Manager
Role: SAP Programme Manager
Contract Length: 6 months
Location: Remote and London
We are looking for an SAP Programme Manager, working on high profile and exciting projects.
The role has been created to help deliver multiple projects and you will have the opportunity to make recommendations for methodologies and processes and help define the way the projects are delivered. What is critical is that you drive projects forward by playing a hands on role in project activity, playing a key role in reporting back to the business (CEO level) and managing the governance of the projects. You will be dealing with a huge range of stakeholders so you must be able to develop strong relationships with peers, 3rd party stakeholders as well senior management within the business. There are a number of projects running within this area and you will be responsible for overseeing them all so it is critical you can demonstrate a history or managing multiple complex projects.
You will work closely with key members of the SAP team at the business to define and deliver the strategic roadmap of projects using best in class project and program management tools, including:
-Definition and prioritisation of project deliverables.
-Project governance to define scope, vision, roadmap and plan.
-Project tracking with regular meeting/calls to capture all actions, risks, issues and form a backlog of activity.
-Key stakeholder management and reporting to ensure all communications are defined and delivered in a timely fashion.
-Engagement with the businesses Procurement and Supplier management teams to run selection processes for partners.
-Management of key procurement systems for internal and external contract commitments.
-Management of multiple project streams as part of the wider partnership.
-Resource management to ensure that all areas of the program are resourced effectively for delivery of key objectives.
-Manage project budget & finances within governance policy
- Change control for project scope amendments
The successful candidate will have:
- A proven track record of managing & delivering large scale multi-faceted projects in conjunction with large scale strategic partners, particularly in the payments & software space.
-Knowledge of key project methodologies and track record of having applied them at large scale
-Knowledge in supplier management / legal / regulatory processes and evidence of working with stakeholders within these business areas
-Ability to work side by side with product / propositions & sales teams in order to manage projects to time and cost.
-Strong commercial acumen
-Numeric / analytical / commercial awareness
-Highly effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills; articulate & concise in written and verbal communications
-Proven influencing and relationship management skills and ability to balance and manage diverse stakeholders
-Experience in working within a complex matrixed organisation
-Fully aware of industry trends & future innovation
-Knowledge of relevant third party suppliers / partners e.g. technology / platforms
