Project Manager
Location: Glasgow
Length: 6 months

Overall purpose of role:
Key Accountabilities:
- Lead Planning, Execution and closure efforts for end to end delivery of assigned Wholesale Credit Risk projects.
- Chair relevant governance forums and produce relevant artefacts as per Barclays change control standards.
- Manage RAID, co-ordinate across functions and systems for planning interlock and dependency management.
- Proactively manage risks and issues, escalate as necessary to remove blockers.
- Manage the weekly reporting process, chasing PMs as required to ensure the timely submission of reports to management team.
Person Specification:
- Awareness and a working knowledge of Execution Risk Standards.
- Understanding of project governance requirements including key project roles such as Project Sponsor and Accountable Executive.
- Attention to detail in the production of data packs for decision makers, whilst not losing sight of the ‘big picture’ and having consideration to the seniority / subject matter expertise of the target audience.
- Experienced PM with demonstrable track record of supporting multiple programmes/projects.
- Understanding of Programme / Project management methodologies and governance.
