Overall purpose of role:

 

Key Accountabilities: 

 

  • Lead Planning, Execution and closure efforts for end to end delivery of assigned Wholesale Credit Risk projects.
  • Chair relevant governance forums and produce relevant artefacts as per Barclays change control standards.
  • Manage RAID, co-ordinate across functions and systems for planning interlock and dependency management.
  • Proactively manage risks and issues, escalate as necessary to remove blockers.
  • Manage the weekly reporting process, chasing PMs as required to ensure the timely submission of reports to management team.

 

 

Person Specification:

 

  • Awareness and a working knowledge of Execution Risk Standards.
  • Understanding of project governance requirements including key project roles such as Project Sponsor and Accountable Executive.
  • Attention to detail in the production of data packs for decision makers, whilst not losing sight of the ‘big picture’ and having consideration to the seniority / subject matter expertise of the target audience.
  • Experienced PM with demonstrable track record of supporting multiple programmes/projects.
  • Understanding of Programme / Project management methodologies and governance.
