Location: London (2 Days on Site)

Contract: 6 Months (Potential to Extend)

Overview

Barclays is seeking a highly capable Project Manager with strong HR transformation and change delivery experience to lead a flagship initiative focused on the future of leadership development. The role involves managing the delivery of a digital coaching and accreditation pilot—combining AI-enabled virtual coaching and real-world delivery—with the goal of informing a broader organisational rollout in 2026.

This is a key delivery role within a complex, fast-paced transformation programme, requiring strong project governance, stakeholder influence, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead delivery of a high-visibility digital coaching and leadership development pilot for senior stakeholders

  • Develop and manage robust project plans, risk logs, dependencies, and governance forums

  • Drive alignment with wider HR transformation initiatives, including culture change, performance, and talent management

  • Translate pilot findings into actionable insights and a strategic case for scale-up across the enterprise

  • Coordinate across cross-functional teams including PMO, internal systems (e.g., Workday), and analytics

  • Engage with senior stakeholders to build trust, manage expectations, and drive decision-making

  • Ensure timely reporting and tracking against KPIs, milestones, and change impacts

Experience and Skills Required
  • Proven experience delivering large-scale HR or business transformation projects (ideally in FS or consulting)

  • Strong project management qualifications (PRINCE2, APM, Agile, or equivalent – mandatory)

  • Skilled in navigating complex matrix organisations and influencing at senior levels

  • Experience with performance management, employee engagement, talent frameworks, and digital HR systems (e.g., Workday)

  • Data-literate and able to collaborate effectively with insight and analytics teams to inform strategy

  • Familiarity with leadership development, coaching models, or accreditation frameworks (nice to have, not essential)
