Programmatic Operations Support Manage

London

PAYE only

Length: 6 months – maternity cover


Day to day responsibilities:


To guide, support and deliver to the Programmatic Sub-service operational support, focussing on Governance and Control; including day-to-day governance process management and improvement as well as ad hoc projects. To provide a first class onboarding experience for Graduate / Intern candidates in the APAC region.


Support key governance activities and operational activity as required to enable the delivery of the Programmatic processes

Review, and look to improve, existing processes to streamline operational activity 

To maintain and collate sensitive information required for escalations and exception incident recording/monitoring

Ensure that all candidates (with a particular focus on India) are onboarded in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Barclays Operational Risk Framework and internal Barclays Policies and Standards

Escalate any known issues or risks in a timely manner to the right channels

Provide deep dive investigation and analysis in any area which risks may be uncovered

To maintain and collate confidential and sensitive information required for compliant onboarding

Key stakeholder management and relationship building internal to TA as well as across the wider HR function and the business


Key Accountabilities:


Process Ownership

In-depth knowledge of onboarding and governance processes necessary for successful Programmatic operations

Responsibility for the successful onboarding of Programmatic candidates in APAC (with a particular focus on India)

Responsibility for maintaining and improving key operational and / or governance processes in the Programmatic landscape

Responsible for documenting operational processes and developing new governance processes 

Educate and guide clients to understand relevant end to end governance and onboarding processes 


Risk and Compliance

Review and improve existing governance processes to ensure control steps are included in the design and actively build control steps into new process designs

Understand programmatic operational processes sufficiently to be able to identify and escalate risks

Ability to lead analysis and investigate areas where there may be risk 

Ensure onboarding of Programmatic candidates is recorded, monitored and reviewed in line with regulatory requirements 

Up to date knowledge of regulatory requirements, the Barclays risk framework and policies and standards 

Partner with stakeholders in risk and control as well as Programmatic sub-service to ensure risk mitigation 


Partnership with Programmatic

Ongoing relationship with Programmatic sub-service ensuring an in-depth understanding of operations support requirements 


Risk and Control Objective

Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Enterprise Wide Risk Management Framework and internal Barclays Policies and Policy Standards.


Working background/experience:


⦁ Experience in Onboarding global Programmatic employees

⦁ Able to work under pressure and deliver against a number of tasks simultaneously

⦁ Strong attention to detail and data accuracy

⦁ Proven ability to work independently, and as part of a global team

⦁ Skills with MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Excel, SharePoint

⦁ Effective and diplomatic written and oral communication skills including an excellent telephone manner

⦁ High levels of tact and diplomacy to handle all types of candidate interaction; ability to guide hiring managers with the on-boarding process

⦁ Experience of leading analysis work through a risk and control lens
