Overall purpose of the role:

Working with the Senior Compliance Learning Lead and colleagues across the Compliance Learning team, the Compliance Learning Manager will drive design, build and delivery of blended learning technical development pathways across the five Level Two risk areas under Compliance Risk.

You will be doing learning needs and gap analysis. 

You will be a self-starter with demonstrable experience of having previously undertaken learning project management roles.  


Key Accountabilities:

The Compliance Learning Manager will focus on: 

  • Building the professional and technical capability of the Compliance function based on the Compliance Leadership team’s critical priorities and agreed Compliance Learning strategy   

  • Working closely with internal SMEs, Group Learning and external suppliers to design and deliver blended learning solutions

  • Deliver programme deliverables in accordance with the agreed processes, procedures and methodologies.

  • Specific focus placed on effective learning needs analysis, planning & control, learning design & delivery, supplier engagement, evaluation, MI and governance reporting

  • Drive engagement, utilisation and innovation of learning technologies 

  • Focus on quality, value and cost management of learning programmes



Key Skills:

  • Experience of building programmes

  • Experience of working with external suppliers, and with internal SMEs

  • Able to follow procedures and methodologies, follow it and report on it

  • Method, delivery and design of programs

  • Project Management experience

  • Experience of designing and delivering learning solutions, demonstrating application of learning theory

  • Drive and enthusiasm to deliver high quality learning products and services 

  • Judgement and decision-making 

  • Ability to engage and influence others



Desirable Skills:

  • Experience of collecting, analysing and presenting data

  • Experience of working within a control function environment 

  • Project/Programme management experience

  • Compliance 

  • Financial Services / Banking sector experience
