Overall purpose of role:

 

Key Accountabilities: 

 

  • Undertake diagnostic activities to assess business requirements e.g. interviews, data collection and interpretation, etc.
  • Ensure that all change is supported by a clear set of clear Business Analysis artefacts (requirements documentation, process maps, data diagrams, business presentations etc.) aimed at a wide range of stakeholders both business and technical.
  • Collaboration and partnership with programme teams and functional business teams as required, to define and enable available intelligence and inputs into structured methods and processes to enable classification of requirements. e.g. Legal, Compliance, Product, Technology and Modelling Teams.
  • Design and coordinate processes, support and communication as necessary for the UAT Manager to successfully test business requirements and deliver the right technical solution.
  • Act as an implementation subject matter expert for handling workflow, queries, data control throughout the entire project lifecycle.
  • Manage project workflows with immediate team colleagues and key shared service resources.
     

 

 

Person Specification:

 

  • Highly organised, demonstrate excellent stakeholder and relationship management.
  • Resource management skills; strong planning capabilities.
  • Strong knowledge of Business Analysis methodologies (e.g. BCS/ISEB) and experience of their application.
  • Knowledge of bank products and services including lifecycle events across BUK, BI and Barclaycard.
  • Proven track record of delivery involving both project management and business analysis skill sets
  • Understanding of Barclays Behaviours and Values. To be displayed at all times
  • Experience working in a change/remediation function within financial services and with products offered to clients
