Overall purpose of role

 

Broadly the purpose of this role is to support the launch and embedding of change being delivered by
projects into the HR function and/or by HR led projects into wider business.

 

Primarily this role is to provide change engagement delivery, advice and support across agreed/ key projects. Support includes developing engagement plans and other engagement materials as well as supporting the set up and execution of engagement activities to relevant audiences.

 

In addition, working alongside the project lead and where agreed, the role will provide delivery support for broader change management elements such as development of a change mgt strategy for the project, operational readiness planning, user acceptance testing etc

 

Key Accountabilities


Develop and maintain required engagement materials, including email communications, briefing packs, articles, FAQs, etc 
Participate in relevant project team meetings, representing the Engagement team


Gather required content for engagement materials and ensure content is written in a clear, concise language


Manage all engagement queries arising from supported projects and actioning in a timely manner


Capture feedback and lessons learned on delivered engagement activities to continue to improve activities in the future


Network with other engagement team members in HR Optimisation and across Barclays to align activities, where appropriate, and share best practice

 

Stakeholder Management and Leadership 


Work with the Project and Engagement lead to undertake stakeholder assessments and develop stakeholder management plans and approaches


Work closely with the relevant project managers and project teams to gather/develop required content 


Work with all relevant stakeholders, as required, to ensure they are kept up-to-date on engagement activities


Work with stakeholders to ensure they have the opportunity to feed into engagement materials


Build on any existing champion / ambassador networks to ensure they are suitably updated and can act as engagement conduits into their teams

 

Risk and Control Objective 


Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Enterprise Wide Risk Management Framework and internal Barclays Policies and Policy Standards.

Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications:


Has extensive experience of understanding business requirements, change impacts and delivering impactful change communications 
Ability to engage with change recipients, understand their needs, create and/or execute plans for successful landing of the change
Ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels
Proven ability to effectively influence and communicate at all levels 
Good written and presentation skills

 

Desirable skills/Preferred Qualifications:


Ability to work across multiple work stream, division and geography
Strong team working skills, including working effectively within a remote team


Change management theory and/or experience 
Knowledge of working within HR processes and systems
