Shifts: Monday - Friday (with Saturday working required every other week - 1 weekday off)

Overall purpose of the role 

Barclays are looking for Customer Care Colleagues to join their well established team in Wrexham. As the welcoming face of Barclays for branch visitors handling daily banking needs, your primary commitment will be to supporting customers, striving to ensure their experience is truly memorable.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Offer a warm and inviting welcome to each customer as they arrive at the Branch

  • Provide assistance and guidance with self-service devices as required

  • Guide customers with their scheduled appointments

  • Strive to serve customers promptly and efficiently 

  • Handle occasional inbound customer calls (post-training)

  • Discuss digital banking options, applications, and online services with customers


Key Skills: 

  • Experience in customer service (including face to face customer service role)

  • Enthusiasm for customer assistance and confident interacting with a wide range of customers

  • Telephony experience beneficial but not essential (full training provided)

Onsite

Colleagues who perform ‘onsite’ roles will spend four or five days a week working onsite, depending on the requirements of their role and business area.  Please discuss the working pattern requirements for the role you are applying for with the hiring manager.  Please note that as we continue to embed our hybrid working environment, we remain in a test and learn phase, which means that working arrangements may be subject to change on reasonable notice to ensure we meet the needs of our business.
