Day to day responsibilities:

Support delivery for ECB Climate Risk Stress Test for both BE stakeholders and wider Group stakeholders

Track delivery of Climate Risk ST

Support completion of deliverable, including producing and consolidation analysis and review decks to explain the results, basis of prep and methodology

Act as a thought leader and Climate Risk SME to lead and drive the agenda embedding this into existing or new processes

Partnering with Group colleagues to align BE Climate Risk approach with wider Barclays Group Climate Risk approach

Scenario modelling and analysis

Drive continuous improvement and efficiencies by streamlining processes and reporting

Ensure strong control environment is in place

Early identification, communication and resolution or escalation of all control issues

Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications:

• Continuous process improvement
• Maintain and operate fit for purpose systems and datasets for reporting, planning and analysis and alignment to common control data sets
• Take responsibility for personal performance development, training and career development
• Take responsibility for the personal and professional development of direct junior team members
• Build and maintain strong relationships with all key stakeholders

Key objectives and outputs:

Stress testing within EU banks

Assess risks and vulnerability due to climate change

Transition risk assessment – i.e. sectors where the bank is exposed

Working background/experience:

Project management experience

Stakeholder management experience

Stress testing background or similar financial stress testing/planning projects

Large scale complex FS background

Need someone who is immediately available / no one with a long notice period

Can hit ground running, proactive, adaptable, strong communication skills

Good Excel, Powerpoint and Word experience
