Overall purpose of the role
Barclays are looking to recruit a confident and enthusiastic Financial Crime Change Business Analyst. The role is to be part of the Financial crime transformation team, we are looking for someone to come in and hit the ground running. The right candidate will work with business areas, gather requirements and be able to write user stories to then really draw out the key information from the initial stage of understanding customer requirements, resulting in helping to deliver desired results. We are looking for someone that has the ability to process map and gather requirements with an appreciation of attention to detail. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to expand on their skills as a Business Analyst
Key Accountabilities:
Accountability for co-ordinating and leading the Business Analyst team in the production of all business focused Business Analysis deliverables throughout the lifecycle of a programme/project. This will include, amongst other activities, undertaking complex and detailed analysis to understand the Current State, identification and generation of solution options, To-Be modelling, both high level and detailed requirements gathering and documentation, in both waterfall and agile terminology, Business Operating Model generation and impact assessments.
Accountable for defining the strategy and plan for all business analysis activity, working in collaboration with Change Delivery Manager team, Senior Stakeholders and the Accountable Executive, along with other delivery partners to shape the overarching delivery plan and all related resource planning; ensuring the BA activity plan is delivered to appropriate levels of quality, on time and within budget.
Embedding current and future methodologies within the Change team, as well as identifying, proposing and championing new and improved Business Analysis methodologies, tools and techniques to be adopted by the Group and BUK-wide BA communities.
Ensure your direct and indirect team have the appropriate resources, skills and knowledge needed to be effective, efficient and compliant and, where appropriate, are provided with the information and support needed to develop their careers in BUK and Barclays.
Actively contribute and participate as a member of the Business Unit business change Leadership Team, providing challenge, where appropriate, to drive forward efficiencies and enhancements to learning and development, recruitment, talent management, succession planning, performance reviews and building of a change delivery team fit for the future.
Key Skills:
A good understanding and experience of working with Agile
Be able to work closely and influence stakeholders
Good level communication with different audiences (ie stakeholders, technical teams)
Exposure to large and complex programmes within financial services
Proven experience in a Business Analyst role for a large initiative
A good Understanding and experience of using Jira
