About Business Intelligence
To develop business focused Management Information that is both on a strategic and ad-hoc basis. This will incorporate using a variety of Business Intelligence tools to provide data, analysis and analytics. The BIT covers all of the Wealth Management businesses
Overall purpose of role
The Technical BA role is a critical hands-on technical role reporting into the Head of Business Intelligence. The role holder will be primarily responsible for implementing the structural design and build of our new Tableau dashboards. This includes (but is not limited to): -
- Data modelling in Alteryx
- Building Tableau dashboards
- Cross training Tableau knowledge to the Business Intelligence Team
- Working closely with the design lead to scope out the data modelling and Tableau requirements
Whilst the role is very technical in nature and requires the role holder to undertake all aspects of the core report code development (primarily Alteryx and Tableau), the role holder will also be required to assist the broader team support senior sales leaders and Wealth Managers in understanding how to improve their productivity and effectiveness
Responsibilities:
- Understand, agree and implement data modelling back end in Alteryx
- Build relevant dashboards in Tableau
- Communicate regular updates to key stakeholders
- Data analysis to understand specific business data to develop the Tableau solution
Skills:
- A track record in developing in Alteryx and Tableau
- Excellent, proven Business Analysis skills and expertise:
- Gather information, perform analysis and definition
- Process design and process mapping, design of operating models, gap and impact analysis
- Able to provide input to design the solution based on the analysis completed
- Highly IT literate – able to appreciate connectivity with business practices and operations
- SQL
