Job Title: Dayforce HCM Migration Technical Lead

Location: Westferry, London

Contract Type: 6 months 

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Dayforce HCM Migration Technical Lead to switch from old on-premise HR systems to Dayforce (a modern cloud platform) for a new Payments business. Guide the technical design, manage external delivery partners, and ensure the system goes live by the end of 2027.

Key Skills:

• Dayforce Expert: Deep understanding of how Dayforce is built, secured, and used for reporting.

• Migration Leader: Proven history of running large HR system upgrades and fixing tech issues.

• Data Transfer: Know how to clean, move, and double-check employee data securely.

• System Connections: Ability to link Dayforce with Payroll, Finance, and other IT tools.

• Vendor Management: Experience holding outside teams accountable for quality and deadlines.

• Security & Rules: Understand data privacy (GDPR) and how to safely set up user access.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design the System: Plan a simple, effective Dayforce setup that meets business needs.

• Direct Partners: Review, guide, and challenge the work of outside tech vendors.

• Supervise Data Moves: Ensure old HR and payroll data is transferred accurately to the new system.

• Build Integrations: Link Dayforce smoothly to Finance, Benefits, Identity, and Data tools.

• Collaborate: Work closely with internal HR, Tech teams (including Barclays colleagues), and external partners.

• Manage Risks: Catch technical problems early and make quick decisions to keep the 2027 launch on track.
